3ouncescream cheese, softened(use 4 oz if you want more cream cheese flavor)
8tablespoonssalted butter, softened
3⁄4cupgranulated sugar
1cup flour plus 2 tbsp flour
10 -12Oreo cookies, crushed(some larger bits too)
1tablespoonvanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and then beat in butter.
Add sugar and mix until light and fluffy.Add in vanilla and mix.
Add a couple drops of holiday food coloring for a festive touch.
Add flour gradual,y and mix until well combined.
Fold in Oreos, then cover bowl and place in the refrigerator for an hour.
Preheat to 375 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.(I didn’t line with paper–just used butter wrapper to lightly grease pan, and nothing stuck).
Scoop out 2 tablespoons and roll into a 2 inch ball.
Place them on your cookie sheet and press down lightly.
Bake for 9 to 11 minutes.The edges will start to brown but the cookie will be soft.
Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes, then carefully transfer to a cooling rack to finish cooling,.
