Booths issues urgent warning for popular dessert – ‘do not eat it’

Booths has issued a warning and informed customers that its Two Lemon Bakewell Tarts have been withdrawn from its shelves because they could contain milk, which is not declared on the label. This means that the popular dessert is a possible health risk for people with allergies or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.

“Instead, return it to the store from where it was bought for a full refund, with or without a receipt. For more information contact Booths on 0800 221 8086.”
