Chick-fil-A's New Make-at-Home Chicken Parmesan Kits Are Here to Save Dinner

Chick-fil-A Chicken Parmesan Meal Kit Prep

With restaurants throughout the country forced to adapt to this “new normal,” the meal kit has quickly emerged as a popular way for chain restaurants to help families stay fed on a budget.

While these mostly consist of a jumbo-sized order of existing menus or a pile of ingredients for DIY tacos, one new option from Chick-fil-A gives you the chance to create your own version of an item that’s never appeared on the chicken chain’s menu— but maybe should.

Chick-fil-A Chicken Parmesan Meal Kit Final

Starting May 4th, you can get your hands on an official Chick-fil-A Chicken Parmesan meal kit at select locations. For $14.99, you’ll find everything you need to make a delicious chicken parm for two. In addition to the obvious seasoned and breaded chicken (which can be swapped out for grilled or spicy chicken), the kit includes marinara sauce, “Italian-style cheese,” as well as creamy garlic and lemon pasta. So it’s definitely closer to your Italian ristorante-style chicken parmesan than what you’d order from a deli.

While the fusion of Chick-fil-A with (what I at least consider to be) one of the best manifestations of Italian cuisine is certainly a dream come true, it’s not the only way they’ve put a home-cooking spin on their menu during the current pandemic. A while back, they launched a “Nightly Nuggets” cooking miniseries, which will eventually provide Chick-fil-A’s social media followers with thirty days’ worth of meals that put a new spin on existing menu items.

But whereas the Nightly Nuggets recipes called for chefs to do some supplemental shopping outside of Chick-fil-A, the Chicken Parm kit provides everything you need in one package that you can pick up without getting out of your car or even leaving home. It’s available for purchase at the drive-thru, through Chick-fil-A’s app, or one of their delivery partners.

So if you’re desperate for new recipes or struggling to come up with new ideas for quarantined “date night”, look no further than this chicken parm that’s pretty much impossible to screw up. Here’s hoping Chick-fil-A decides to put this thing on their menu for good once this is all over.
