Five Guys reopening: Which Five Guys have reopened? Collection and delivery hours

American burger chain Five Guys has begun to reopen select restaurants across the UK. The popular chain will be resuming delivery and collection, but won’t allow diners to sit in to eat.

Five Guys initially kept 13 restaurants open for delivery and click and collect orders.

Seven more branches have now followed suit and are open for business.
Branches in St Paul’s, Baker Street, Edinburgh Fort Kinnaird, Edinburgh Fountain Park, Plymouth and Liverpool Queen Square reopened on Monday, April 20.

The Five Guys branch in Guildford has reopened today, April 22.

UK CEO John Eckbert said: “We have adopted a phased approach to reopening Five Guys stores, adhering to government advice and ensuring the safety of our customers and crew is paramount.

“To date a small number of stores have remained open for Click and Collect and Deliveroo orders only and while this has been in operation, we’ve been proud of how our crew members have supported local hospital workers and key frontline workers across the UK.”

Five Guys has 88 restaurants in the UK, and arrived from America in 2013.

How do I order from Five Guys?

You can order via the Five Guys app, or by visiting the restaurant’s website.
Customers can also order on Deliveroo.

The click and collect service ensures that people can receive their food while maintaining social distancing rules as imposed by the government.

Five Guys doesn’t charge extra for click and collect orders, and there is no minimum spend.

If you’re placing a home delivery order with Deliveroo, you’ll need to spend a minimum a £5.

There’s also a delivery charge of £2.99 per order.

Most restaurants are usually open from 11am to 10pm, however this can change so check before ordering from your local branch.

The chain has also confirmed it will be running a full menu in all restaurants.
The classic Five Guys menu offers 250,000 possible combinations of burgers in addition to 1,000 ways of customising a milkshake.

Other food chains have taken similar steps including KFC, Burger King and Pret A Manger, which are all operating a phased reopening of restaurants for delivery.

Pret A Manger is currently only open to NHS staff.

Burger King branches have also started reopening with 11 restaurants now back up and running for deliveries, and KFC has now reopened 15 restaurants across the UK.

McDonald’s is yet to announce any changes to nationwide restaurant closures.
