Homemade Chocolate Frosting


  • 3 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • ⅔ cup cocoa powder
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 7 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Directions

  • Step 1

    Combine confectioners’ sugar, cocoa powder, butter, milk, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix using an electric mixer until blended and creamy.


  • Cook's Note:

    You can use margarine instead of butter, if you’d like.
