Jamie Oliver is back on the screens with his new series Jamie Oliver: Together featuring a collection of recipes meant to be enjoyed with loved ones after so much time spent being apart. The chef has shared a healthy breakfast recipe which can be prepared in under 10 minutes.

Jamie recently shared his delicious mango and yoghurt layer pots which he called “pots of sunshine”.

The breakfast dish, with vanilla and granola dust, can be prepared in less than 10 minutes.

“These little pots of sunshine make a brilliant breakfast – or healthy pud – to enjoy on the go,” Jamie explained.

This is a perfect option for those looking to have a healthy start to the day.

Ingredients

One ripe mango

One teaspoon vanilla extract

180 g of natural yoghurt

100 g of granola dust

Jamie said: “Peel and destone the mango, place in a food processor and blitz until smooth.”

Alternatively, he explained you can chop the mango into bite-sized pieces.

The chef then proceeded to mix together the vanilla and yoghurt in a small bowl.

“Layer two lidded, portable pots with a little of the vanilla yoghurt, then a little of the mango purée and a dusting of Granola Dust.

“Repeat until everything is used up,” he explained.

The delicious breakfast is ready to eat in less than 10 minutes and it can also be a healthy option to take away.

“Pop on the lids and go!” Jamie said.

The chef also recommended trying other fruit and swapping some of the ingredients: “Feel free to mix up the fruit – try passionfruit, berries, stewed apple or pear.

“Or sprinkle over a little desiccated coconut, which is particularly good with mango,” he explained.

Jamie recommended having the delicious pots for breakfast or as a healthy snack.

Another celebrity chef, Tom Kerridge, recently shared his favourite breakfast option to lose weight.

He promised his apple and cardamom overnight oats will be a “game-changer.”
