Although it’s only mid-November, Christmas has come early at McDonald’s. Their festive menu was launched today, and includes several tasty new dishes.

The new festive menu will include two new burgers, the Festive Stack and Festive Crispy Chicken.

The festive pie, which hasn’t been included on the Christmas menu since 2016, will make a return.

McDonald’s lovers far and wide, do not fear, as the new menu will be available in all UK branches.

This means there are 1,354 places to sample the new menu.

Patrons of the fast food chain will also be happy to note that the Breaded Camembert Dipper, Celebrations McFlurry and seasonal hot drinks make their annual return due to popular demand.

However, a few classics have been taken off the menu.

2Chill offers its readers tips on what to eat, drink and do.

A reporter from 2Chill sampled the new menu and gave his verdict.

His verdict on the new Festive Crispy Chicken was: “As someone who is a Chicken Legend fan, I had high expectations for this replacement burger and it did not disappoint. For me, all McDonald’s burgers have a similar taste, however this burger tastes different offering a new mixture of flavours.”

This burger contains a crispy chicken breast fillet, cranberry sauce, sage and onion mayo, bacon, red onion, lettuce, cheddar cheese in a glazed poppy and sesame seed bun.

It’s a burger with all the trimmings, and rightfully so.

As for the McDonald’s Cheese Melt Dippers and tangy tomato dip, they did not disappoint.

A rave review was provided by 2Chill: “I must admit, as a massive cheese melt dipper lover, I have a positive bias towards them. It goes without saying these would be my death row meal as the starter, main and dessert.”

They added: “Waiting patiently all year for their return was made worthwhile the moment I got a whiff from the packet.

Even just holding them in my hand, I could tell they would taste like heaven.”

According to this reporter, nothing says Christmas like baked camembert with a tangy dip.

They were also “pleasantly surprised” by the Festive Pie.

To wash down the Christmas-inspired food, people can choose between two festive hot drinks – a chocolate fudge latte and deluxe hot chocolate.

The Celebrations McFluffy, filled to the brim with Maltesers, Galaxy, Mars, Twix and caramel sauce, makes a return too.

Nothing says Merry Christmas like a new menu at one of the nation’s favourite food stops.

Happy Christmas and happy eating.
