PSA: Lay's Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle Flavor Is Here to Stay

Flamin' Hot Dill Pickle

You may remember when, a few months ago, Frito-Lay partnered with singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha to bring us three new Lay’s chip flavors inspired by three of music’s most significant genres: pop (Wavy Electric Lime and Sea Salt), rock (Kettle Cooked Classic Beer Cheese), and hip-hop (Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle).

Well, amazing news! It looks like hip-hop’s flavor isn’t going anywhere any time soon. The company announced yesterday that Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle is becoming a permanent addition to its lineup.

“The harmony of distinct beats and spicy lyrics create the same alluring experience as uniting two fiercely loved flavors—Lay's Flamin' Hot and Dill Pickle,” a press release boasts.

The fan favorite is certainly amassed quite the cult following in a short amount of time.

One superfan even took extreme measures when he couldn’t get his hands on the flavor after its limited-time availability had run its course:

“@LAYS, can you just bring back Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle Remix so I don’t have to do crazy things?” Twitter user @ZacharyLucy asked alongside a photo of Dill Pickle chips and Fiery Habanero chips mixed together in a Ziploc bag. “*disclaimer: I know I didn’t use Flaming Hot Lays. The Habanero ones are hotter.”

We must admit: Though there’s a lot going on with this flavor (some might say too much), it does sound pretty dang enticing.

Flamin’ Hot Dill Pickle is available now at retailers nationwide—you can score a 7.7-ounce bag for $3.49.
