Snapple's New Flavor Sounds Perfect for Summer

Snapple took to Facebook last week to announce its new Watermelon Lemonade flavor—and it sounds aggressively summery.

Add some sweet to your sour. Introducing new Snapple Watermelon Lemonade. Tastes just like fruit, but Snapple.

“Add some sweet to your sour. Introducing new Snapple Watermelon Lemonade,” the post reads. “Tastes just like fruit, but Snapple.”

According to its product description, the juice is “refreshing” and “tart.”

Editors at The Daily Meal were able to taste the new blend earlier this year, and they described it as a “liquid Jolly Rancher.” Honestly, we’re kind of into that.

One descriptive reviewer on Snapple’s website wrote that it tastes “almost as if it were made of freshly squeezed lemons, straight from the tree; and crisp watermelon, ripe and oh-so-sweet.”

Another boldly claimed that it’s “the BEST Snapple” flavor ever.

Watermelon Lemonade isn’t the only new Snapple flavor set to hit shelves this summer: The brand is also introducing Black Cherry Lemonade and Strawberry Pineapple Lemonade.

While reviews for Black Cherry Lemonade are mixed (some say it’s too bitter, some say it’s delicious), everyone seems to enjoy the Strawberry Lemonade flavor—though, one reviewer did mention that it’s hard to find on shelves.

All three new Snapple flavors are available now.
