The supermarket chains, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Aldi, Lidl and Waitrose have issued warnings over food products. The recalls were issued after allergy and safety fears were raised over some food items. This is the full list of affected items.

Tesco
Kuhne’s Made For Meat Chipotle Burger Style relish
The supermarket chain recalled the dressing as it contained milk which was not mentioned on the label.
The Food Standards Agency (FSA) website read: “This product contains milk making it a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents.”
All batch codes and best before dates are affected.
Lidl
Kania Oregano
The warning was published over the seasoning product as it could cause a safety risk to those who consume it.
The FSA website said: “Lidl GB is recalling Kania Oregano due to the possible presence of high levels of pyrrolizidine alkaloids.
“Pyrrolizidine alkaloids are naturally occurring; however, prolonged consumption of high levels can lead to liver disease.”
The item has a pack size of 7.5 grams, the best before date of June 2022 and batch code of 9163BE.
Waitrose
Heston Mushroom & Gin Sauce
The item was recalled as it contained mustard that was not listed on the label.
This would make the product unsafe for those with an allergy or intolerance to the item.
The affected packs are 200 grams with the use by dates of 14 February 2020 and 17 February 2020.
