Wawona Frozen Foods issued a voluntary recall last week for several frozen berry products sold under Aldi and Raley's Family of Fine Stores' private labels. This recall is coming after these products tested positive for Hepatitis A during a government sampling program.

The following products are under recall nationwide, and no other retail packages of frozen berries are currently included in this recall:
- Season's Choice Raspberries (frozen): 12-ounce bags with "Best By" dates of June, 10, 2021, August 1, 2021 and August 23, 2021. "Product of Chile."
- Season's Choice Berry Medley (frozen) containing raspberries: 16-ounce bags with "Best By" dates of July 17, 2021, July 20, 2021 and July 22, 2021. "Product of USA, Chile."
- Raley's Fresh Frozen Red Raspberries: 12-ounce bags with "Best By" dates of June 5, 2021, August 1, 2021. "Product of Chile."
Hepatitis A is a contagious virus that can lead to liver disease and typically occurs 15-50 days after consuming food contaminated with the virus. Symptoms include fever, headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, jaundice, dark urine or pale stool. Anyone who has consumed one or more of these products or is experiencing any of the above symptoms should reach out to their health care provider or local health department.
