Miller Lite Is Celebrating International Beer Day By Giving Away Beer For Free

The biggest holiday of the year (arguably) is practically upon us: I am, of course, talking about International Beer Day, which is tomorrow, August 7. You may very well have your own special way of celebrating the day, but in case you don’t have your plans settled yet, Miller Lite’s got you covered. According to Travel & Leisure, the company is kinda, sorta giving away free beer in certain cities across the United States. More specifically, they’re kinda, sorta giving away free beer in cities across the Unites States named after countries. Because, you know. It’ll be International Beer Day.
If you hop over to millerlite.com, you’ll see they’ve named examples of such cities. It seems like Greece, NY; Peru, KS; Mexico, ME; and Poland, OH, will be among the dozens of places that’ll get you free beer come tomorrow. If you’re wondering if there’s a city fitting this criteria near you, you can check the full breakdown of “international cities” here.
Per T & L, anyone who wants to take advantage of this opportunity has to “[upload] a receipt from their purchase of a six-pack of Miller Lite beerto the site and a rebate will eventually be sent to them via Venmo or Paypal. Additionally, anyone lucky enough to be in or around Scotland, SD, tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. can visit Miller Lite’s semi-truck, which will be set up in town safely distributing beer to (21+) fans in the area.
Really, truly from the bottom of my heart: Happy International Beer Day, friends.
