It’s been quite a year for fast food as people are turning to drive-thrus more often and some chains are adjusting their menus to make the process more efficient while giving customers the options they want. Wendy’s added a new pretzel bacon cheeseburger and bacon pub fries, and if you haven’t had the chance to try the fries yet…you can now get them for free.
These fries aren’t your typical salty side. They’re topped with warm beer cheese sauce, shredded cheddar cheese, and applewood-smoked bacon. If you want to give them a try, Wendy’s is offering a free order of the bacon pub fries when you make a purchase on the Wendy’s app.
Wendy’s is constantly offering different promotions through the app, many of which only require a small purchase to qualify. You can buy a soda, a Frosty, or a full-on sandwich and be eligible to get the free bacon pub fries. In the Wendy’s app, you’ll find the deal under the “Offers” tab, and then can simply place your order and pick it up at your closest restaurant.
This offer is available through September 27, so you can ring in the new season with an order of these cheesy fries free of charge. Bacon pub fries typically cost about $2.89, so you’ll be saving a couple bucks that you can put toward something on the Wendy’s value menu.
Something about free food always tastes better, and layers of cheese and bacon can never go wrong, so carve out some time in your busy schedule to head to Wendy’s. You won’t regret it.
