Catherine Tyldesley previously showcased dramatic weight loss. Today the actress appears on James Martin Saturday Morning which focusses on food. But the actress is sure to stick to a healthy diet away from the screen.

Catherine once lost six stone in a huge weight loss transformation.

The Coronation Street actress previously weighed 15 stone, wearing a size 22 at age 18.

She has since slimmed down to a size eight and wowed on Strictly Come Dancing in 2019.

In the past, Catherine revealed how working long shifts caused her to adopt unhealthy eating habits.

The Corrie actress said: “On night shoots there are a lot of pies and bacon sandwiches floating about but I took stuff with me.”

She has worked with Ultimate Performance and followed a routine devised by the fitness company.

The mum-of-one enjoys the gym and has followed a diet plan from the brand.

She said in the past: “I think it’s about creating a lifestyle.

“If you want to sustain a healthy weight and feel good about yourself then you need to fuel your body with the right food.”

Now Catherine follows a strict fitness plan.

She also’s controlled when it comes to what she puts on her plate.

So what does the star eat when watching her weight?

Breakfast:

Omelette (three eggs) with wilted spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms.

Post-training:

Prawns or tuna with broccoli and four Brazil nuts.

Lunch:

Chicken and avocado salad with a side of grilled asparagus.

Snack:

Blueberries or an apple.

Dinner:

Homemade steak burgers with aubergine fries.

Sweet treat:

Cocotrients mixed into coconut yoghurt.
