Ivanka Trump’s ‘healthy’ morning routine to lose weight

Ivanka Trump shared a photo of herself surfing in Costa Rica and showing off her toned body. The Instagram caption read: “Soaking up the summer solstice.”

Fans commented that she looked amazing in the black swimsuit with Instagram user @debojitbhattacharyya saying: “Prettier than a supermodel!”

The socialite has managed to maintain a healthy and slim physique after having three children, and she has previously spoken about her daily diet and exercise routine at home.

Ivanka wakes up at around 5:30am every morning to meditate and workout, “or both”, and likes to start her day with a “large glass of water with lemon” followed by “a big cup of coffee,” My Morning Routine reported.

She usually works out at home performing a “fusion workout”, combining yoga, Pilates and dance.

She explained: “I like to be fully ready for the day before my children get up so that my mornings are completely focused on them.

“Meditation is one of the most important things I do each day. I meditate for 20 minutes, ideally twice daily.

“Sometimes I miss the afternoon session, but I always make the morning one. It’s been invaluable in terms of calming my mind and allowing me to think more clearly.”

Her breakfast usually consists of “either Greek yoghurt and berries or ‘fancy oatmeal’,” she revealed on Instagram.

She explained: “If [the children] choose oatmeal, I get out all sorts of toppings – chia seeds, berries, flaxseed, goji berries, cinnamon, walnuts, and almonds – and the kids get to ‘decorate’ their oatmeal.”

During an interview with Eat This, Not That!, Ivanka admitted that she “ate like a teenager” before having children but she now makes the “right choices”.

Before getting pregnant, she would eat “carbs three times a day usually in the form of pasta or pizza”.

“Slowly, I started to actually enjoy, if not crave, these healthier options. Now healthy eating is the norm for me, especially at breakfast and lunch.”

She now follows a varied and balanced diet to maintain her slim physique and includes filling foods like salmon and chicken, as well as healthy fats, like mackerel, to keep her feeling fuller for longer.

Ivanka avoids processed carbs and instead, she opts for complex carbohydrates, such as whole grains and oats, The Daily Meal reported.
