Laura Whitmore diet: How Love Island host maintains her slim physique

Laura Whitmore, 34, took over hosting Love Island from close friend Caroline Flack after the latter withdrew from the show due to personal problems. Pretty blonde Laura has had a long and successful career which started at MTV in 2008 after she won a competition.

Famed for her willowy figure, how does Laura stay in shape?

Speaking to Fabulous Magazine last year, Laura revealed her favourite exercise, and also what she likes to eat.

Speaking about working out, she said: “I do hot yoga. It’s 40°C and I look like a beetroot! I love dancing, too – I go to classes with mates and we dance like it’s Friday night, only it’s a sober Sunday morning.”

Laura revealed she had tried dieting in the past, but it didn’t work for her so she didn’t do it anymore.

She explained: “I used to be terrible for having a bag of chips on the way home.

“I’ve tried diets in the past, but they don’t work. It’s important to be good to yourself. Cheese is my favourite thing in the world.

“I want to do the best for my body, but it’s all about balance.”

Making sure to fight hunger pangs, Laura revealed she always carries “banana and almonds in my bag”, and that her favourite breakfast is “smashed avo and poached egg”.

Laura isn’t the only TV presenter famed for her slim frame. Davina McCall has made a second career from her love of fitness, releasing numerous workout DVDs.

What diet and fitness plan does Davina follow to get her enviable abs?

She told The Sun in 2018 how she quit sugar to achieve her incredible physique.

She said: “I used to have a sugar addiction. I could eat 10 packets of Haribo a night but I eventually cut sugar out of my diet,’ she admitted.

“I replaced some of it with sugar-free fizzy drinks, but those are bad for me too so now I’m on water.”

What else does the star eat? Davina ensures she eats lots of protein, and her snacks include nuts, hummus and prawns.

Davina exercises four to five times a week.

She told the Mail Online: “I fit in exercise wherever I can. This afternoon before the school run I will try and fit 10 minutes.”

Davina appears to workout 24 hours a day. However, she has assured her followers that is not the case.

In August she wrote to her followers: “Ok. So I just wanted to say that I do not spend my entire life working out!

“I know my insta would have you believe that…but I hope that, just like others inspire me on this platform, I might inspire or motivate someone by sharing my love of fitness.

“Having said that…today I am motivating you to also have rest days. I am in bed. Where I will be staying for a while!”
