Posting on Reddit, the dieter “secretiveBirdgirl” explained she followed a keto plan and exercised more to transform her body. By switching up her diet, she slimmed down from 15st 5lb to a much healthier 11st 1lb.

The Reddit user said she was 5ft 8in and 21-years-old and her transformation took just 11 months.
She also explained she followed the low-carb and high-fat keto diet plan.

So, what did she eat?
Those who follow the diet plan must cut back on carbs and instead eat foods high in fat and with a moderate protein content.
By eating between 20 to 50 grams of net carbs a day, the body will enter into a state called ketosis which is thought to burn more fat.
Foods on the keto diet include meats, fish, eggs, avocados, dairy, non-starchy vegetables and low-carb fruits.
Slimmers must avoid high-carb foods like bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and sugary fruits.
“secretiveBirdgirl” explained she also added more exercise into her life when slimming down and focused on cardio.
After posting her transformation online, other Reddit users were quick to comment on her jaw-dropping transformation.
One user wrote: “This is the motivation I need! Same height and approx goals. You look great and serious face gains! Congrats on the hard work to get there!”
“Congrats on the progress! Glad you found things that brought you closer to your goals. You look great,” another added.
Dieters will often take to social media to show off their transformations and one man explained what he did to shape up.
Following a keto diet plan, he managed to slim down by a staggering 10st 13lb.
By strictly following the plan he managed to shed the weight without having to add in a lot of exercise.
