Kate’s weight loss journey began just under two years ago, when her health concerns started to become more serious. At 22 stone, Kate was overweight and decided she needed to do something to be healthier.

Kate’s weight was constantly on her mind, chipping away at her confidence and self-esteem.

She said she was so unhappy she “stopped going out so much and started to hide away indoors and wasn’t very social at all, then I would be inactive and eat more – so it was a never-ending cycle”.

After trying multiple different diets, Kate came across The Skinny Food Co, which “made lower calories food swaps much easier”.

The company offers slimmers a range of foods with fewer calories and containing much less sugar.

This means people who want to lose weight can still eat their favourite foods, but healthier versions of them.

Speaking about her weight loss transformation, Kate said: “I think my determination came from realising that I had to do something about my weight before it was too late.

Kate credits The Skinny Food Co for feeling much healthier and happier in her body.

She said: “The reason I kept putting off losing the weight was that I didn’t find a healthy eating plan that suited me.

“I also had mobility issues due to a car accident a few years ago resulting in my back giving me a lot of problems, so I wasn’t exercising as much.

“I was very unhappy being overweight and tried to hide the fact that I was, but I was desperately sad inside and angry at myself.

As for her daily meal plan, Kate has stopped snacking in the evenings and has made “little changes” to her lifestyle, saying: “I used to be an evening snacker, so I had to adjust when I was eating.
