6tablespoons frozen butter

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 450°.
Mix baking mix, baking powder, and salt in medium-large bowl.
Using box grater, grate frozen butter into flour mixture. Using a pastry knife or fork cut butter into flour mixture until butter resembles crumbs.
Add the milk in two portions and mix until just combined. Over working the dough will give you hard biscuits so be cautious to work the dough as little as possible.
Dust your work surface with baking mix and shape your dough into a rough circle that is nearly an inch thick.
Use a drinking glass or a biscuit cutter to cut out about 8 biscuits. Do NOT twist the cup/cutter when cutting the dough. Reshape dough and repeat until all the dough is used.
Lightly coat about half of a baking sheet with vegetable oil and place biscuits on greased half touching edge of pan and neighboring biscuits.
Lightly brush top of biscuit with oil and bake @ 450° for 15-20 minutes turning half way through cooking. Cook until tops are golden brown.
