Baked Chicken w/ potatoes and carrots

It is a hybrid of recipes with a twist(different seasonings).


  1. 4 tablespoons meat tenderizer
  2. 3 tablespoons garlic powder
  3. 3 tablespoons paprika
  4. 2 tablespoons slap ya mama
  5. 3 tablespoons onion powder
  6. 10 chicken thighs bone in
  7. 1 cup premium EVOO
  8. 2 lbs golden potatoes(or your choice)
  9. 1 lbs carrots(I used frozen)
  10. Half stick of butter


  1. Preheat oven to 365. Wash and clean chicken then put in pan skin down.

  2. Add all seasonings(minus EVOO).

  3. Flip chicken and add same amount of seasonings.

  4. Cover pan with aluminum foil and put in oven for 1 hour.

  5. After one hour drain excess juice and add EVOO over the chicken. Cover and put back in oven for one more hour.

  6. Now peel and clean potatoes and put into cold water before dicing into whichever way you want.

  7. Throw potatoes and carrots into boiling water for 7 minutes.

  8. During this time add EVOO, half stick of butter and 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder to sauté pan on medium high.

  9. Add potatoes and carrots to sauté pan for 10 minutes stirring occasionally.

  10. Add potatoes and carrots on top of chicken for last 20-30 minutes.

  11. Take out and enjoy.
