Beef Mac & Cheese



  1. 300 g minced beef
  2. 400 g elbow macaroni
  3. 200 g cheddar cheese
  4. 2 carrots
  5. 2 onions
  6. 1 tbs minced garlic
  7. 220 g tomato puree
  8. 1 tbs worchestershire sauce
  9. 1 tsp salt
  10. 2 tsp Oregano
  11. 1 tbs olive oil
  12. 2/3 cup water


  1. Chop carrots, boil with elbow macaroni (use half of stated cooking time as youll be further cooking later)

  2. Chop onions, combine w carrots and minced garlic in one bowl

  3. Prepare worchestershire sauce, salt, Oregano in another bowl. Water + tomato puree standby

  4. Heat pan (heat 9) and add in minced beef. Cook until browned, remove and lay on plate.

  5. Add oil to pan, then add carrots, onions, garlic. Fry till onions are soft

  6. Add beef, seasoning, water, puree, stir well, then cook till mixture simmers, then add in macaroni

  7. Cook till macaroni is soft, about 5-10 mins, mix well. Just before finishing, layer cheese on top for few minutes, then turn off heat when cheese looks melted
