Black Chicken Soup with American Ginseng

Nourishing herbal soup,refreshing and energize the Yin and Yang of the body.We prefer whole black chicken for it gives better taste to the herbs.

Ingredients

  1. Whole black chicken
  2. American ginseng
  3. Chinese yam
  4. Solomons seal
  5. Goji berries
  6. 2 tsp rock salt

Steps

  1. Add all ingredients in a pot of 4 litres water. Let it boil for 15 minutes and let it slow simmer for at least 8 hours. Add salt when simmered for more than 3 hours.

  2. You can use a Thermos cooking pot or electric induction slow cooker to save gas when slow cook for long hours.
