Braised Kiko Chicken

Ingredients

  1. 3 lb. Chicken breast
  2. 1 cup flour
  3. 2 T oil
  4. 2 stalks celery
  5. 2 carrots in chunks
  6. 1 onion in chunks
  7. 1 cup water
  8. 1/3 cup soy sauce
  9. 1 t dry oregano

Steps

  1. Use pot with a lid that will hold everything. Lightly flour (dredge) chicken in flour. Heat oil and brown chicken on both sides.

  2. Remove chicken from pot, sauté vegetables in same pan for 2 minutes.

  3. Combine remaining ingredients. Return chicken to pot with vegetables, cover pot and lower to a simmer. Cook covered for 45 minutes.
