Breaded fish with rice and cauliflower

This is my dads specialty! I’ve always helped him whenever he makes this.

When me, my dad, and my brother went ice fishing, we caught a total of 31 fish! Today, we’re gonna eat them! 😉

Ingredients

  1. For the fish:
  2. 12 large fresh fish fillets
  3. 1/2 cup white flour
  4. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  5. 2 eggs (beaten extremely well!)
  6. 1 cup dry white jasmine rice
  7. 1 1/2 cup boiling water
  8. For the cauliflower:
  9. 1 large head cauliflower
  10. 3 cup boiling water
  11. 1/2 cup cheese (sharp cheddar)

Steps

  1. First, place the breadcrumbs and flour on two separate paper plates

  2. Place beaten eggs in a bowl

  3. Place the fish fillets in the flour

  4. Then the eggs

  5. Then the breadcrumbs

  6. Fry the fish with olive oil until cooked

  7. For the rice:

  8. Add rice to boiling water and let cook until it has soaked up all the water

  9. For the cauliflower:

  10. Add cauliflower to boiling water

  11. Once cauliflower is soft, top with cheese

  12. Let cheese sit until melted

  13. Enjoy!!
