- 1 Cup granulated sugar
- 2 TBSP Water
- 1 tsp Corn Syrup
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp Sea Salt
Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in heavy bottom stainless steel pot and place over medium heat. Swirl lightly to mix (do not stir). Cook until an amber color.
Mix heavy cream and vanilla together. Pour mixture slowly into pot off heat after it has reached am amber color. Mixture will bubble and foam. Stir and return to hear for a few minutes to combine.
Remove from heat and stir in salt. Pour into glass container and allow to cool on counter.
Store in air tight glass container once cooled.
