My mom’s recipe. this recipe is the combined mixture of chicken and shrimp. Very much special for Ramzan and Eid.
- 200 g boneless chicken (breast part)
- 1 cup medium size Shrimps
- add salt according to your taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic ginger paste
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- chopped onion, coriander mint leaves,green chillies
- 3/4 cup bread crumbs for binding
- 1 tspoon soya sauce
- 1 tb spoon tomato sauce
- For coating the chicken
- 2 eggs
- 2-3 cups breadcrumbs
Wash the chicken and strain all the waters inside. there must not be extra water in the chicken. if possible u may press the chicken pieces to strain all the water, this is very important. Add the medium size shrimp with the chicken, grand and make a combined paste.
Add all the spices mentioned above and mix the it properly. Add chopped onion,coriander,mint and green chillies and again mix it.
Make 20 to 25 chicken shrimp.you can make it according to your favourite shape such as circle, square, egg shape. Dip the shapes in eggs and coat with breadcrumbs.For better look insert a toothpick into the shape.
Fry this Chicken shrimp pop in a medium low heat until golden brown colour would appear. It will be done within 7 to 8 minutes.
