Chocolate Fondue (microwave version)


  1. 6 oz semi-sweet chocolate chip or bar chopped into chunks
  2. 4 oz milk chocolate chips or bar chopped into chunks
  3. 1/2 cup milk or half and half (if on hand)
  4. 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  5. 1/2 tsp vanilla
  6. 1/8 tsp fine salt (sea, kosher, Hemalayan, or table)


  1. Add chocolate, milk/ half and half, and butter to microwave safe bowl and microwave on 50% power for 2 minutes.

  2. Stir until smooth.

  3. Stir in vanilla and salt.

  4. Transfer to fondue pot or tiny crockpot.

  5. Dipping ideas: strawberries, apple slices, pineapple chunks, pretzels, marshmallows, cookies, raspberries, cake, etc
