Chocolate-peppermint malts


  1. 3 cups chocolate milk
  2. 1 quart vanilla or chocolate ice cream
  3. 1/3 cup malted milk powder
  4. 1/3 tsp peppermint extract
  5. Coarsely crushed hard peppermint candies


  1. In a blender, combine chocolate milk, half of the ice cream, the malted milk powder and peppermint extract. Cover and blend until smooth.

  2. Pour into 6 chilled tall glasses.

  3. Top each malt with a scoop of remaining ice cream. Sprinkle with crushed candy pieces.
