Chocolate Soufflé

I can make a simple chocolate souffle

  1. 8 oz Dark Chocolate
  2. 2 tbsp Sugar for the Ramekin
  3. 3 tbsp Sugar for the Base
  4. 1 Egg Yolk
  5. 4 tbsp Flour
  6. 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  7. 2 Egg Whites
  8. 1 pinch Salt
  9. 5 tbsp Milk
  10. 1 tsp Baking Powder or Baking Soda

  1. Put the mixture in the ramekin and bake in the oven in the following temperature and time (Preheat the oven) (275°F for 10 minutes for it to rise) (Turn the oven off and leave it there for 5 minutes)

  2. Prepare the ramekin or souffle dish. Brush the edges with butter and sugar. This is for the souffle to rise properly.

  3. In a hot pot, mix the milk and chocolate until everything is well combined. Remove it from the heat when the chocolate is all melted down

  4. In a separate bowl, combine the egg yolk, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla extract, and your leavener.

  5. Add the milk-chocolate mixture in the egg yolk base. Bring it back to heat until it forms a uniform texture.

  6. Whisk the egg white in a separate bowl until it reaches a stiff peak. This is for the airy part of the souffle.

  7. Enjoy!!!
