I can make a simple chocolate souffle
Ingredients
- 8 oz Dark Chocolate
- 2 tbsp Sugar for the Ramekin
- 3 tbsp Sugar for the Base
- 1 Egg Yolk
- 4 tbsp Flour
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 2 Egg Whites
- 1 pinch Salt
- 5 tbsp Milk
- 1 tsp Baking Powder or Baking Soda
Steps
Put the mixture in the ramekin and bake in the oven in the following temperature and time (Preheat the oven) (275°F for 10 minutes for it to rise) (Turn the oven off and leave it there for 5 minutes)
Prepare the ramekin or souffle dish. Brush the edges with butter and sugar. This is for the souffle to rise properly.
In a hot pot, mix the milk and chocolate until everything is well combined. Remove it from the heat when the chocolate is all melted down
In a separate bowl, combine the egg yolk, sugar, flour, salt, vanilla extract, and your leavener.
Add the milk-chocolate mixture in the egg yolk base. Bring it back to heat until it forms a uniform texture.
Whisk the egg white in a separate bowl until it reaches a stiff peak. This is for the airy part of the souffle.
Enjoy!!!
