Gourmet Breading Mix

If you want a unique, restaurant tested breading for your fried foods…. you needn’t look any further. You will need s processor/blender.


  1. 16 oz hidden Valley Ranch mix
  2. 1 cup Panko bread crumbs
  3. 1 cup pine nuts
  4. 1 cup potato starch
  5. 1 cup AP flour
  6. 2 tablespoons dry garlic
  7. 1 tablespoon salt
  8. 1 tablespoon pepper
  9. 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  10. 2 tablespoons chili powder
  11. 1/4 cup paprika


  1. In a blender: Very specifically, place the panko bread crumbs in first, then add the pine nuts on top the panko. Blend until everything is blended. The nuts should drop perfectly into the center of blender and blend very easily. (If you put the nuts in first, you’ll make nut butter)

  2. Once blended pour the contents of the blender into a large, open container. Into the container add all other ingredients. Mix well.

  3. Remember: if you want a thicker breading, you can always double batter your food item!
