Ingredients
- 2 onions
- 6 celery sticks
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- poultry seasoning
- 1 lb sage sausage
- 1 lb regular sausage
- 3 cups hot water
- 12 cups cubed bread
Steps
Chop onions and celery and saute in butter
Brown all sausage and drain
In a big bowl, combine cubed bread, celery/onions mixture and sausage
Slowly stir in hot water to keep bread fluffy
Add poultry seasoning to taste
Stuff turkey and bake remaining stuffing in a buttered casserole dish at 350° for 30 minutes, covered
