Shrimp/Sausage Boil

I got tired of paying for seafood boils and I’m trying to ball on a budget so I did this myself…all the ingredients total came to: $ 25.00. Fed 3 tonight but meal feeds enough for 5-6.

*all measurements are estimated. I used whatever my taste or hand thinks is enough*

  1. 1 lb shrimp (clean/no tail)
  2. 4 tablespoons minced garlic
  3. 3/4 cup Old Bay
  4. 2 cups melted butter
  5. 1 sausage package
  6. 1 lb small red potatoes
  7. 3 corn husks (or 6 small frozen husks)
  8. Pepper
  9. Salt
  10. Lemon garnish/juice (optional)
  11. Parsley

  1. Cut the corn in 4s and the potatoes. Bring to boil until ready. (You can also just boil them and then cut them afterwards).

  2. Cut sausage and place to the side.

  3. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place the following into a bowl: corn, potatoes, sausages, and uncooked shrimp. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add one cup of melted butter. Add 2 Tblespoon of Old Bay. Mix together. Add mixture to pan

  4. Bake at 400 degrees and for 30 minutes or until shrimp is cooked (pink)

  5. Once out the oven add the remaining Old Bay and melted butter. Garnish with parsley and lemon wedges. Enjoy!
