Simple lunch with Recooked Sardine and Brown Rice

Busiest keeps the time flies. Didn’t realize it’s time for lunch. Starving but lazy to cook. I remember that I have leftovers brown rice. I could eat that. But I don’t have any leftovers dish. Looking at my pantry and my eyes catching up on a sardine can. So here is idea, I am going to make sardine can lunch menu for my lunch.

Ingredients

  1. 1 small sardine can
  2. 1 shallots sliced
  3. 2 cloves garlic slices
  4. 4-5 chopped thai chili
  5. 1 tomatoes sliced
  6. 1-2 bay leaves
  7. Water
  8. 1 tsp cooking oil
  9. Served with:
  10. Steam rice (I preferred brown rice)
  11. Any raw greens (lettuces or spinach)

Steps

  1. Prepare all the ingredients

  2. Heat up the non-sticks skillet add oil over medium heat. Add all the ingredients accept the sardine.

  3. Keep sauted until the onion little bit caramelize.

  4. Open the can and add the sardine into the pan.

  5. Add some water, mix well and cooked for about 3-4 minutes.

  6. Season with salt, and taste it

  7. Served with hot or warm brown rice and raw lettuce. Enjoy ?
