  • 2-1/2 pounds large sweet potatoes (about 4 large, peeled and shredded)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, combine sweet potatoes, sugar, corn syrup, butter and orange zest. In another bowl, combine flour, nutmeg and cinnamon. Add to sweet potato mixture; mix well. Transfer to a greased 13×9-in. baking dish. Bake until potatoes are bubbly and golden brown, 55-60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
